Transitioning can include internal organizational changes, implementation of systems, outsourcing, out-tasking or subcontracting initiatives.

Transitioning and Change Management takes planning and effort to do it right with minimal disruption and maximum impact, whether it's an organizational change, implementation of new systems/processes, first time outsourcing / out-tasking initiative or a change from one provider to another.

Our project experience related to transitions includes:

A corporate transition from an in-house department to a subsidiary with reduced headcount in management, admin and union positions. This included a cultural transition from lackluster internal service delivery to a more customer focused, higher level of service.

  • An outsourcing transition from internal service delivery to an external provider. Working from the provider side, we successfully managed the hiring of new staff, the movement of existing client staff into our organization, setting up offices, communicating the new roles and responsibilities, identifying and managing new contractual relationships and dealing with newly emerging customer service needs and issues.
  • An outsourcing transition focusing on the technical/systems side of preventive maintenance, environment and energy services in an overall service delivery model. This included setting up and migrating data from a previous provider's system into a new system as well as communication and training of new staff on the new systems and processes.

With experience working from the provider's side both in a new outsourcing transition and a change of providers, we have the experience to manage your transition with minimal disruption and maximum benefit from your new arrangement.
